Your privacy is important to us. This website (“the FPA website”) is owned and operated by Family Planning Ltd and McCorquodale (Midlands) Ltd which trade as the Family Planning Association and FPA. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.

WHY WE COLLECT INFORMATION
We collect information from visitors to our website to help us understand how the site is used, to process orders placed through our online shop and to send out information to you when you have requested this.

Anonymous information
We record and store information about all visits made to the FPA website. This information will not identify you; it may include:
- which pages are being visited
- how visitors arrive at the website
- which browsers and operating systems visitors use
- the internet domain and IP address visitors use to access the website.
If you have a Google account and have previously logged into it on the device you are using to access our website, we may collect information from Google such as your age group, gender and interests. We can’t and don’t link this information to you or use it to identify you.
Personal information
If you place an order, register an account or wish to opt in to email updates you may need to provide us with personal details such as your email address, name, address or telephone number.
If you place an order you will need to give us your payment card details. We will not store your card details after we have processed your order.
When you are logged into our website you are no longer anonymous to us and we will collect information about any orders you make.
If we give you (or you choose) a username and password to access certain parts of this site, you are responsible for keeping these confidential.

Analytics advertising cookies We may use Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting service. This helps us understand information about our website visitors such as age group, gender and interests. This information is gathered and stored by Google. We can’t identify you from this information. Google records information using cookies named ‘AID‘ and ‘TAID‘. Pardot cookies We use a tool called Pardot to help us record and analyse how our visitors use our website and to remember your preferences. Pardot uses a cookie to record information about what pages you visit and other activities you may carry out on our website. It also remembers some of the information you fill in on forms so that you don’t need to fill in the same information every time. The cookies do not store any personal information. If you don’t want us to track your activity with Pardot you can enable “do not track” settings on your web browser and/or disable JavaScript.
Session cookie If you log in to your account on this website we use a session cookie to remember that you’ve logged in. Without it, you would need to log in every time you visited a new page. The cookie only lasts until you close your browser.
Content from external websites We sometimes use external web services such as YouTube and Vimeo to display content on our site. The information they collect will be anonymous unless you have an account with the service and are logged into it.

Any anonymous information is used to help us improve our website.
Any personal details you provide may be stored on the FPA website and/or other FPA database(s) and may be used by us:
- to process and send your order

We do not store your payment card details.
ONLINE ORDERS
When you place an online order through this website we securely transfer your order details to our stock control and order fulfilment system. This system is also hosted and operated by McCorquodale (Midlands) Ltd and we use these details to process and despatch your order.
THIRD PARTIES
The information we collect from our website is for the use of McCorquodale (Midlands) Ltd only, unless stated otherwise.
We will never pass your personal information to a third party without your consent, except
- to companies acting on our behalf so that we can deliver your chosen services and perform our normal business
- when obliged to do so by law.

REQUESTING A LINK TO OR FROM THE FPA WEBSITE
You do not need permission to create a link from your website to most pages of our website. However, please do not link to our PDFs, Word documents or image files without written permission. You can request permission by emailing fpadirect@fpa.org.uk. We reserve the right to request the removal of any link to any part of our website.
